Care is about looking after people, and that includes the communities and environment they live in. As a young company, we have the chance to build good habits from the start.

Our commitments

• Smarter routes: we will plan visits and placements to keep travel distances down, matching workers to services close to where they live.
• Paperless by default: we use digital systems for records, rotas and timesheets wherever possible, reducing printing and postage.
• Local recruitment: recruiting locally supports the Hull and East Yorkshire economy and reduces commuting.
• Responsible purchasing: we choose suppliers who take their own environmental responsibilities seriously, and reduce single-use items where it is safe to do so.
• An efficient office: we work from a shared business centre and encourage walking, cycling and public transport.

Carbon reduction plan

We will measure our Scope 1 and 2 emissions and key Scope 3 sources, such as business travel, as our operations grow, and publish a carbon reduction plan in line with the Government's Procurement Policy Note guidance when we bid for contracts that require one.
